Interview with CL9 Richard Smith

Q1) Favorite Thing about OTF?:
I enjoy the people. There are member here from all walks of life. I also like the ability to get involved. Life can be busy, but the Outpost offers many ways to doing something fun.

Q2) One thing you'd change about OTF?:
I'd like to see Top Geek make a comeback. Figure out a way for Active chat time to be calculated and start giving out Top geek again.

Q3) One theme you'd love to see added to OTF?:
There was an idea to add a Marvel/DC room that was pretty unique

Q4) Favorite Team/Department?: Communications

Q5) Favorite OTF memory from the last year?:
Interviewing Nana Visitor for the Blue Report was awesome. It was our first big time interview in years. Looking forward to doing many more.

Q6) How did you find out about OTF?:
My brother was alsready a member and showed it to me.

Q7) What is your favorite theme in OTF?:
Star Trek. I'm a traditionalist

Q8) Favorite Avatar?:
my own, but I use Archer when I am to lazy to look up my av link

Q9) Which OTFer would you be for a day and why?:
Zild - Just to see what lamers have done in the past. Iain - I'd like to take in the view from the top just once.

Q10) How long have you been a star trek, star wars, doctor who fan?:
Most of my life. I remember being 3 or 4 and watching Star Trek TOS. I got into Star Wars later.

Q11) What's your favorite change that has occurred since you've arrived?:
I like the Auto Update chat and the changes made to that this year.

Q12) What other handles have you been using?:
None. I have been using my name since I came here

Q13) Favorite quote?:
Work at your own pace. It's easier that way

Q14) If you had a level two armory, who would you most like to shoot for fun?:
I have a level 5, but I don't mind shooting out Numbers when I have a free shot.

Q15) What is your personal message to the Outpost for the Year 2014/2015?:
I hope everyone has enjoyed the work we've put into the different parts of the Community this year. I am looking forward to see what we can do from here.

Q16) What do you see as being your future at Outpost 10F?:
I've been a member of Outpost 10F for 15 years now and honestly don't know where my next step is. I sure something fun and challenging will present itself sooner or later.

Q17) What is one tangible object that you value above all others?:
Not exactly an object, but I do value my family above all else.
