Q1) How did you originally find Ten Forward (OTF)?:
Well first off it's a bit funny Im being interviewed now since the 21st will mark the 17th anniversary of the day I joined. I'd been to another chatroom called Ten Forward a couple days earlier and lost the URL. I was in another chat I was going to at the time and was told about OTF. I thought it was the room I had been to previously. It wasn't! *lol*

Q2) What did you like about the place back then?:
The atmosphere, chatting with people who had things in common with me (a love of sci-fi).

Q3) Do you still remember any of the people you met in the chat, or events held during that first year?:
Yep! The first cyber weddings, trivia, ect Made lots of friends. Many of which I eventually met at the first Union in Vegas in 1999.

Q4) Do you still keep in contact with any of them?:
I keep in contact with alot of em mostly thru Facebook.

Q5) Why did you stop coming to the chat?:
Well school at first, then other stuff like genealogy and I've had some health issues to deal with as well.

Q6) Would you consider coming back at some point, and if so, what would make you want to come back?:
I come in (or at least attempt to) during the anniversary parties but I sometimes just forget. This year I was sick most of the summer and was just too plum tired. I've been meaning to come in more and more but personal stuff just gets in the way.

Q7) What have you done since you left the chat? What are you doing these days?:
I help people in a genealogy chatroom. Try to help them break down the "brick walls" they have. It's alot of fun and I've learned more history from genealogy than I ever learned in school!
