Ahoy!

Thanks for swinging by the 2005 and 2006 Yearbook. Pulling it all together has been a bit of a mission, so I'm glad you're taking a bit of time to check it out.

This project was originally undertaken by the fabulous Tom Nobbe (CL8) but unfortunately his real-life schedule accelerated out of control and he was no longer able to take it on by himself. Fortunately I myself had a few months between semesters and not much in the way of work, so between drinking sessions and other social events I was largely free to waste my time with computer games. Luckily for my sanity the Yearbook needed some man hours so I shelved the games and got stuck in.

The design is a little different from previous years - as you can see, it is focussed entirely on the membership, using polaroids as a symbol of capturing moments in time just as this project aims to do. At the end of the day, as many people attested to in their interviews, it is the people that makes Outpost 10F what it is. So, fittingly, the people are the inspiration for this design.

In closing, a big thanks to the Communications Executive (Suzy, Amanda and Cinna) and the original Yearbook Team Leader (Tom) for having the faith in me to see this project through to conclusion. It's been a great ride and I've discovered a few new things too. Of course what you see before you wouldn't be here without the yearbook team, so massive thanks to Iain, Cinna, Kayana, Amanda, Tom, Ice, Dracmus and Suzy. You guys rock and it's been a pleasure working with you.

Cheers!
B
