How long have you been frequenting Outpost10F?
Since February 1998

How did you come across Outpost 10F?
Being a dragon I was looking for a nice Medieval Chat. I had not been on the computer long so I didn't know my way around. I put in the search engine Fantasy after all that is what I love King Arthur, Elves, Dragons, etc. Well the search engine didn't find Fantasy as I know it if you get my drift....so I freaked out and put the second thing in Star Trek. I walked into to Ten Forward as it was called in and the rest is history.

What attracted you to the Outpost?
The warmth and love of members.

Who's the first person you remember meeting in the chat rooms?
Was either Captain Tommy or Steph Gorgas

What's your favourite memory of the Outpost so far?
I have so many........Hard to isolate one........Maybe the night Andrew icqed me to come to TF and start a congo line....... Who would think our Admiral would be one to congo......He put on his straw hat and got in line dragging others along with us. Everyone that had been blue and pouting started laughing *s* Must have been a sight to see. Or perhaps it was Han Solo when we did the Parody "Phantom Grimace" for Actors' Guild. I could not keep up with him and I am not a bad simmer. He had me typing so furiously and running everywhere after him I was actually perspiring. And yes Dragons do perspire

What's the aspect of the Outpost that you love the most?
Being able to help the members and encourage them to be the best they can be. And most of all to receive letters from all my young people when they have done something spectacular.....straight A's in college, good grade on thesis, won a karate match.......lost a karate match, got their drivers license or a won a ball game or band competition. To watch them grown, season and mature into wonderful people. Friendship

What do you dislike about the Outpost?
I dislike whiners, and negative people. I dislike liars, and I have no tolerance for people that think they are better than others and show open disdain in the chat. I hate rudeness and those that deliberately hurt others just to make themselves look good so they think but actually they should see themselves through others eyes. It is sad.

What's your favourite Outpost affiliated website?
Are there affiliations? Sorry there are none as good as this no where, no way , no how!!!!!

Are you in any departments?
Yes

What do you think of the departments?
I think they are great for the members and help them be even more a part of a group and remember the departments enable everyone one to be a part through their contributions to our sites. Without our members our sites would die.

If you're in a department, do you enjoy it?
I love it.......and we try and include the outpost members in everything from art, music, simming, writing, poetry, films, jokes interviews and on and on.......We love it or we wouldn't bother to do it.

What's yer pet peeve concerning the Outpost?
Those that come in to spoil the chat atmosphere with negative remarks and pouting and making everyone miserable. I call them the Doom and Gloom peeps. I think we should throw a pie in their face and sweeten them up.

Have you ever won an award?
Yes and it is always nice to know one is appreciated.

If you could change one thing concerning the Outpost, what would it be and why?
Teach others what friends really are. Friends are listen and don't judge and just accept you for who you are not what you want them to be.

What's the most outrageous thing you've ever seen at the Outpost?
That would have to be last year in the temporal warp where one by one we were unable to get into outpost........started with me I think but it was a domino effect.

How do you think the Outpost will change over the years to come?
Well the members are younger.....and the relationships are not as intricate as they once were.

If you had to sum up Outpost10F in three words what would they be?
World Wide Friendships

What do you admire about the Outpost?
I admire the ones that work so hard to keep us up and running and the team work it takes to make us so special.

Which chat do you prefer, the Cantina, or Ten Forward? Why?
I find that both have qualities I admire. But the chat itself is not for admiration but for the members that contribute to making the atmosphere a positive one.

What aspect of the Outpost makes you smile?
The craziness and zaniness of some of the senior officers. Sometimes we seem stiff but then they will break out and do things that dear heavens you can't help but have a depend moment. I swear I could see the newbies with their mouths open.

What Outpost member most understands you, inside and out?
Honey, Kali, Zandetta and RG

What's your record time for being in one of the chats?
Heck that would have been when I first came ....was only Ten Forward.....I tried to compete with Kat but Kat got a cot and stayed in I finally had to give it up LOL......2 days I think.

No just that this was the longest interview I ever did. Fingers fell off and I am now typing with tiny nubbs. You have it easily in your power to increase the sum total of this world's happiness now. How? By giving a few words of sincere appreciation to someone who is lonely or discouraged. Perhaps you will forget tomorrow the kind words you say today, but the recipient may cherish them over a lifetime. -- Dale Carnegie
