| Zilette: Her beautiful spirit, generous heart, witty sense of humor and fountain of wisdom drew many me and many other people from around the world to her. She helped so many young people in OTF (Outpost 10F chatroom) where she worked endlessly to bring them entertainment, education, security and love. Her creativity, brilliant talent, patience and love for the kids and the site will never be forgotten. She was a woman with a heart of gold and loved all her (internet) children equally. She was a counselor, best friend, sister, mother...to all. She touched more lives than anyone I have ever met. We were richer and more Blessed having her in our lives. I wish we hadn't lived so many miles/states away from one another. We share so much. People used to find it hard to believe that a lasting friendship could be developed online. You have been my BFF for 16 years even though we were many years apart we were kindred spirits. I knew I could always call you and talk to you about anything and everything, There was nothing we didn't share,,,our childhood stories, our families, heart break and laughter....no matter what was happening in our lives....we always found a way to laugh. You always knew what to say and how to make me laugh. Your wisdom and witty sense of humor help me thru some difficult and dark times. I have been so Blessed to have shared so many good times as well. I am sorry I wasn't there for you in these later days. The last time we spoke, you made light of your health and so I thought for sure you were on the road to recovery. Your voice sounded so strong and even your words came smoother and easier. But I should have know you were sheilding from the truth. You always made light of things so that those who loved you wouldn't worry. Today, you joined your sister Toni, your Daddy and other who went before you. I know how much you are going to miss your husband Al, your daughters Jessica and Geneva, you mother and brother....but most of all ...your beautiful grandbabies whom you adored! We would be silly with lack of sleep the day of the August big awards celebrations. But she was determined the kids very special and needed. I can't count the hours she stayed online talking to kids and adults who were having a bad day or night and try and help them feel better and realize nothing stays bad forever. | |
