Communications
CL7 Grotesque

Another twelve month has passed and here we are again!

Communication has had its share of ups and downs this year. We've had the misfortune of loosing some great people. Earlier this year Amanda, who has been in Comm for a very long time, stepped down as Assistant Senior Manager and head of the Tribune and she left some huge shoes to fill. Then Cinna had to step down as Assistant Senior Manager as well. Luckily though Cinna decided to return to us and we're very happy to have her back. I'm also happy to announce BC as our new Assistant Senior Manager 2!

The projects in Comm are running smoothly thanks to all the wonderful people working in our department. The Union site is humming along with DS at its helm. The Celebration corner is keeping busy, as usual. Jadzia along with Ayanna and James Q Soul brings us smiles with congratulations and birthday wishes. The convention page has gotten a new fresh look as well as a new project leader, Quark, who has done a fab job getting the project up and running as well as filled with up-to-date information on new convention all around the world. The gateway team which had been on hiatus for a few month is now back online and better than ever. It has been cleaned out of old broken links and is now packed with new great websites. BC and Nimrauko have done a great job getting the gateway back in action! Dierna continues her awesome job on the gossip board and never fails to keep us updated.

Some projects haven't been so fortunate though. The Tribune has had a bumpy year, but we hope to have it up and about much quicker and less painful than with Skele-Gro!

Like the the Tribune, the Yearbook too seemed to have been doomed to the Timeout-Balrog which dwells deep below Minas Tirith. Yes, that scary thing indeed. There was a time, a few months back, where it looked like we had been stranded on a deserted island with nothing but a pistol and an empty bottle of rum. It looked hopeless and many of us thought that there wouldn't be a Yearbook this year. But then, on one gloomy day, a nice yellow, little boat came bobbing up and down in the horizon slowly drifting towards the island. Out of the boat hopped Aeon, Kayana, Mezoti and Bocky with pens, paper and a survival kit. Ohm showed up aswell with his programming wizard skills et voila! With a bit of glue and rope we managed not only to build ourselves a hut Yoda would have been proud of but also this very nifty new Yearbook! Big thanks to you lovely ladies and Ohm for another fab book!

All Commers deserves a big pat on the back for another great year! Rum and cookies for all! <3
